CELEBRATE SALMON THROUGH ART, FOOD, AND MUSIC
NSEA’s 9th Annual Salmon at the Bay Salmon Dinner Event on August 5th
The Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association (NSEA), in partnership with Boundary Bay Brewery, is wrapping up the 9th annual Salmon at the Bay event with a delicious meal and great music on August 5th in downtown Bellingham. This fun, family-friendly fundraiser celebrates our community’s connection to salmon through art, food, and music. A photography display featuring the work that NSEA does at the grassroots level to restore streamside habitat for salmon has been hanging on the walls inside Boundary Bay throughout the event, which kicked off on Saturday June 18th, 2011 and will wrap up on Friday August 5th, 2011 with a gourmet Salmon BBQ Dinner served from 5pm to 8:30pm. For those 21 and over, legendary blues musician Nick Vigarino will follow the August 5th dinner, rocking the crowd from 9pm-12 midnight.
Come help NSEA wrap up the event with a gourmet salmon dinner in the Boundary Bay Garden on August 5th. Tickets are $20 at the door or $15 in advance at NSEA or Boundary Bay. All proceeds from the event will benefit NSEA’s Whatcom County stream restoration program.
