The Cascade river is known for good salmon and steelhead angling. Searun cuthroat and Dolly Varden can also be found in numbers feeding on the eggs and carcasses of the spawning salmon. There is good access from the highway to the river just past Marblemount. To access the Cascade river from Highway 20 near at Marblemount cross the Skagit river onto the Cascade River road. You can follow the road all along the Cascade River up into the North Cascade National Park.

There are Campgrounds at Marble Creek and Mineral Park for the out of area angler interested in staying for a night or two.

Check the regulations http://wdfw.wa.gov/fish/regs/fishregs.htm. Always check the regulations to avoid a ticket.
