Puget Sound Tides

Saltwater fish, especially estuary or incoming salmon, are effected heavily by tidal changes. Feeding will vary based on incoming, outgoing, or slack water tide conditions. Use the following links to time your fishing to the incoming and outgoing tides. Generally speaking, fishing two hours before or after a tide change is recommended. However,
there are no set “rules” that say when the fish will be feeding.
