What size fish are most abundant here and how is the fly fishing?
I’m not sure where the info comes from for Day Lake, but it is on Weyerhaeuser property. All access to this area is by permit only. Permits are limited to how many are available and they were $250.00.
I fish there when access is allowed (logging has priority) or the area isn’t snowed in. The lake has Brook, Rainbow and cutthroat trout. Most of them are under 12″. I’ve caught very few over 12″ and no large fish.
I hope this helps.
Does the paper company open the roads during hunting season?
By annual permit only.
How does one go about applying for an annual permit?
