Canyon Lake is a small foothills lake accessible off Mosquito lake rd. near Canyon Creek. Turn left on the gravel rd that goes above the gravel pit and follow it up past Canyon Creek. The road is said to be washed out so walk in access only now.

Large amounts of small cutthroat trout are available, with rumors of some large ones. The fish will readily attack most lures presented so be prepared for some action.
