Sub Species: Largemouth bass and perch.
Size: Approx. 800 acres.
Public Access: Yes. County park at North end.
Boat Launch: Yes, gravel.
Bathrooms: Yes, at the state park.
Opening Date: Open year round. Subject to change, please read the regs.
Closing date: Open year round. Subject to change, please read the regs.
Located off I-5 a few miles south of Bellingham. There is a state park at the North end of the lake and a public gravel boat launch further down south on the east side of the lake. Samish lake can be good for Kokanee with largemouth bass fishing heating up in the summer.

Where are the shore access places for shore fishing?
Caught 4 smallmouth bass on Saturday here and it was a blast!
