When you reach Maple falls on Highway 542 head north on Silver lake Rd a few miles. There is a county park with a public boat launch, bathrooms, campsites, cabins, and a day use lodge including boat rentals and some basic fishing gear and food.
Fishing can be good on opening day and for several months afterwards. The planted Rainbows put up a good fight and the occasional triploid is always a bonus. There are large native Cutthroat in this lake which are very elusive but also very big. There is shore access fishing including a large point of land to fish from and a dock. Fishing from a boat best however as the shore access points get fished a lot.
Read the special rules and advisories at www.wdfw.wa.gov.

Per the fish and wildlife site opening day is the 4th Saturday of April for opening day of fishing, this year has 5 Saturdays, I think you need to verify this
