Every year WDFW opens one weekend of the year, the first weekend in June, to everyone who doesn’t have a fishing license. Anglers must still follow the regulations, including special rules, limits, etc.., but they do not need a fishing license. Catch records cards may still be needed for certain fisheries, so check out the specifics for the species or area you plan to fish before heading out.
